We need YOUR help to run the various programs successfully. Although there are not many in person opportunities this year, there are several virtual and outside of school options to put your talent to good use. Listed below are the ways you could be involved with the PTA.

Help find and run community outreach events like Pennies for puppies and lunch for a friend
Silent auction co lead
(time commitment 1 yr)
Share creative ideas, help email donation requests to corporations or set up the auction webpage with description/ price/ photos etc.
School spirit wear lead
(time commitment 1-2hrs)
Manage the spirit wear site and work on pricing for individual products
Walk/ Read-A-Thon lead
Organize and run a FUNdraiser the kids will enjoy participating in.

Help coordinate outdoor/online assemblies and on campus outdoor/online field trips.

Assist in calling, help setup or enlist to be a cashier
Volunteer from home
Family engagement event planners

Plan and present any family engagement event like a festival you celebrate, game night or any you may want to run
Silent auction solicitors
(time commitment 2-4 hrs/week for upto 4 weeks)
Includes sending out donation emails, filling out donation request forms, coordinate for classroom baskets and VIP experiences
Community shares flyer designers
(time commitment 1hr)
Preferably a designer who can design the flyers for the various events and programs that the committee runs
Community shares – new partnership acquirer
Help look for more partnerships between the school and the businesses
Volunteer directly with students
Project cornerstone reader
( time commitment 1 hr/ month)
Connect with your classroom kids virtually by reading a book and a small activity focusing on their social emotional learning.
Living classroom parent
(time commitment 3hrs of training and 1hr/ week at the school garden)
If you are interested in sharing your love of nature with children, consider becoming a Living Classroom docent. No prior experience required.
Assemblies/Enrichments
Help research educational offerings and share top suggestions/pricing with PTA Board for school consideration.
Family Engagement/Multicultural
Help plan events that build community connection through fun activities.
Teacher/Staff Appreciation
Help plan various teacher and staff appreciation events to lift their spirits, and meet new needs that arise during this unique year of changes.
STEM
Help plan some Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Mathematics events.
PROJECT CORNERSTONE
The goal is to connect each classroom with a parent volunteer who shares books and a small activity virtually. The focus is on educating and supporting our students social and emotional learning.
