Bike Rodeo

A night of family fun where kids can bring bikes and scooters to school and go through an obstacle course.  There will also be an ambulance, bike safely rules, police where they ride around, learn important safety skills, and will be a fun community event with more info to come

Fall Festival

The school turns into a fall-inspired festival filled with exciting activities for kids of all ages to enjoy.  Family BBQ, games, inflatables, pumpkin patch, and more.  The culminating event of the evening is the Happy Birds Show.

Multicultural Potluck

A Forest Hill friendsgiving multicultural potluck.  People sign up to bring a popular or favorite dish from their culture.  

STEM Event

Craft Fair

In the beginning of December, th 4th and 5th graders get to participate in being entrepreneurs for a day.  Either with a group of friends, or solo, they get a chance to decide what “craft” they will make to sell on the craft day.   They get to learn important life skills of buying and selling a product without the help of parents.  Parents are allowed to be present, but are encouraged to let their child do it by themselves.

Book Fairs

These events are wonderful opportunities to buy books for our children, gifts for friends and the school. 

Math Kangaroo

Math Kangaroo USA is a national nonprofit organization with a mission of helping students love math. For 26 years, Math Kangaroo has organized an annual international mathematical competition for thousands of students in grades K-12. 

Walk-a-thon

This fun-filled event builds community and school spirit, while raising funds for valuable programs. Students walk laps to raise donations from family, friends and neighbors. With lap incentives and grade-level prize winners, it is a fitness-focused event that kids love.

Spring Party

Celebrate spring with a school wide party. Inflatables, food trucks, a special guest performance, and much more.

Science Fair

Kids get to showcase their STEAM skills in a science fair. Can work with a group or solo.  It will be at an offsite location and takes place on a Wednesday afternoon after school

Performing Arts Showcase

The kids get to showcase their talents for an evening.  It will be at an offsite location.  The PTA provides pizza for the families and friends after the event.

End of Year Social

An evening where the art the kids have been working on all year will be showcased throughout the classrooms.  The kids also get to perform the songs they have been practicing in AIM for the second half of the year.

Friday Ice Cream

PTA sells ice cream for $2 after school on most Fridays.  It’s a great way to socialize with friends, end the school week with a bang, and start the weekend off the right way:).
